The 9th Annual Rome Premature Jibulation really went off this year at Cannonsburg, MI. It was Cannonsburg's second year hosting this great event and it was even bigger and better than last year. Mother Nature gave us zero foreplay this year, but after receiving the necessary snowfall to make the course proper, we were jibbing in no time and with over 160 riders showing up. The Cannonsburg park crew busted their asses with the course preparation running on absolutely no sleep from the night before and came up with one of the best Premature Jibulation setups we've ever had.
Winning edit from the day:
The crew was so big we had to split the riders into three groups to take park laps on the rope tow and choose our finalists throughout the day. After narrowing down the field each feature got sessioned for a chance at winning some cash for tricks – $100 cash for the best trick on each one. We easily could have easily given out $1,000 the way the day was going with so many hammers being thrown everywhere.
After the day was all said and done we picked out our top 3 guys and top lady shredder. First place went to Mac Eckstrand, Second was Brad Doren, Third was Jack Harris, and our Top Lady Shred went to Karly Shorr. We ended the day with product toss and throwing back some hot dogs.
