RC Aerial Cam
No strangers to the Cascades, Washington’s RC Aerial Cam is one of the veterans of the Superpark® Video Showdown field. Ivan and Jonas Marcinko are the brothers behind RC Aerial Cam and they brought Geo Short with them to Bachelor to do some filming on the fly. When Ivan is at the stick of the poor man’s Wes Cam, (i.e. the remote control heli-camera), he appears to be staring into space as he ganders into the LCD glasses he uses to achieve a first-person perspective while piloting the craft. The resulting shots are a wholly unique perspective of Superpark® 15 and pretty next level. In front of the lens, Ivan also sticks tricks. At the 1:20 mark, Marcinko counter-rotates onto the two-and-a-half story wallride. Other outstanding stunts include Blum’s high altitude Andrecht, Bode’s fastplant keg tap and Markus Keller’s stalefish-to-fakie on the HCSC hip. Overall, what isn’t there to “Like” about this entry?
Having the home hill advantage means that Sam Tuor knows all the angles when it comes to shooting Mt. Bachelor. This video focuses on some of the Northwest’s best shreds as they annihilate Bachelor’s Outback zone. Skylar Thornton opens Sam’s show with a barrage of booter tricks. From there, Johnny Malanga backside double tweaks the 7 Springs gap hip. Superpark Standouts Scott Vine, Scott Blum, Pat Burgener and Ben Bilocq do have cameos in this edit but they appear sparingly while the brothers Robinson (Aaron and Jason), Nicki Weiss, Forrest Devore and other Cascade crushers carry the edit. Though not a Northwesterner, Blake Paul shouldn’t go without mention as he enjoys the more lap friendly side of Superpark® 15.
