On Day 3 of The Launch presented by Volcom, the assembled crew of 21-and-under riders held a heavy session on the lower jump plaza. Despite unusual weather and rapidly changing snow, there is no crew of snowboarders like those that ride at The Launch and they pointed it toward the take off, providing plenty of proof that the emerging grip of shredders is taking things in a good direction. Even more, the rider’s right transfer gap was opened up–no need to wait for wind to die down or clouds to disperse; there were tricks to be thrown. The kids, as they say, are alright.
