Session 6 is over and out. The summer is beginning to come to a close, much to the chagrin of all of the hoodrats at Windells and up in Govy. There is still plenty of snow and excitement up on the glacier though—there’s no shortage of the making-turns-hanging-with-new-friends-meeting-your-favorite-pro-and-skating-your-face-off kind of good times that define summer at Windells. So, here it is again, your weekly dose of what you’re missing out at Mount Hood, and why you should start stashing your bottle-return money for a ticket out to camp next summer.
Session 7 is up next, the finale of the summer. Stay tuned to www.windells.com/blog for updates. The Salomon team will be at camp, the ladies of Peepshow are putting on a premiere, Austin Hironaka is coaching BMX, and everyone is taking their final laps of the summer!
About White Hot American Summer:
With all the action going on at summer camps these days, SNOWBOARDER Magazine decided that we would condense all of this content into a convenient weekly post for each different camp that we like to call, “White Hot American Summer.” Ok, so we know not all the summer camps are in “America.” Some are in Canada, some are in Argentina, but that’s still North or South America right? Good enough for us. Check in every week for videos and photos from the places you wish you were. High alpine. Hard landings. Soft snow.
