686 and GoPro nearly snuck a collaboration in under everyone’s radar this winter. The 686 x GoPro Men’s and Women’s Insulated Jackets are a “his and hers” take on 686 GLCR insulator silhouettes to keep you warm and dry during the coldest winter months.
This intelligently designed duo of jackets boasts an array of features. Hypoallergenic 600 Powerfill down insulation is housed in water resistant DWR coated lightweight cire fabric on the body and 686’s exclusive infiDRY® 20k waterproof and breathable fabric cloaks the upper yoke, shoulders and hood. This 686 infiDRY® fabric is strategically placed where rain and snow accumulate most to ensure your down stays dry. Once you open the jacket you can’t miss the GoPro graphic pattern on the back panel. Also, designed nicely into the inside chest is a fleece lined zip closure pocket with internal elastic stay custom designed to house your GoPro camera safely and securely when not in use.
“Nick and GoPro are true category innovators and grew the brand out of a vision for something completely unique and what excites us about the brand,” explained Michael Akira West, 686 founder and CEO. “It has been an honor to be able to create something unique and purposeful with them.”
The 686 x GoPro jackets comes complete with audio cord outlet and custom 686 hood and waist adjusters. The men’s Insulated Jacket is also 686 SMARTY compatible and can be zipped into any 686 SMARTY 3-in-1 shells to provide the ultimate integrated layering solution. Both jackets measure a ten on the 686 Thermal Rating scale, suitable for temperatures as low as -20°F/-28°C and come in 686’s tailored fit, fitting close to the body while still allowing enough room for layering underneath.
The jackets are available exclusively through gopro.com.
