nanshan-openAs the largest Asian snowboard competition on the Swatch Ticket to Ride World Snowboard Tour this year draws near, the confirmed rider list to the 8th Red Bull Nanshan Open has now been announced. This January 9th and 10th, 24 invited international pro snowboarders and six locally qualified Chinese riders will do battle at the largest snowboard event ever held on Chinese soil. With riders flying in from thirteen different countries, this will be the most diverse Nanshan Open held to date! While a number of familiar faces will be returning for their second or third time to this popular event, some heavy hitting ‘first-timers’ are also preparing to make their mark at the most significant event in Chinese snowboarding! A 4Star Swatch TTR World Snowboard Tour Slopestyle event, the 8th Red Bull Nanshan Open offers up US$25,000 in prize money and 500 TTR points, and is held in China’s largest and finest snowpark – the Quiksilver Nanshan Mellow Park at Nanshan Ski Resort. The competition is the only TTR event held in China.
