Mammoth Lakes, Calif.— Someone in the Sierras seems to know its going to snow! Mammoth Mountain <http://www.mammothmountain.com/> is boldly offering a Mid-Winter “Snow Guarantee” that ensures it’s the only resort providing skiers and riders with a warranty on winter.
Now through January 9, 2012, for only $299 for adults, skiers and boarders can purchase the Mid-Winter “Snow Guarantee” Pass <http://www.mammothmountain.com/MountainActivities/Passes/Mid-WinterPass/> that’s good every day of the week through February 10, 2012. But there’s a catch. The pass is backed with a “snow guarantee”—for every day that Mammoth Mountain does not cumulatively receive 24 inches of snow beginning on January 4, 2012, the resort will extend the pass one day. For example, if there’s no new snow for a week, the pass will be valid through February 17, ensuring a great deal for President’s holiday.
“Mammoth Mountain just completed one of our most successful holiday periods, which proves that skiers want to ski and boarders want to ride,” said Rusty Gregory, Mammoth Mountain’s Chairman and CEO. “This yearning doesn’t diminish just because Mother Nature isn’t cooperative, and visitors can expect our dedication to delivering the best possible experience that we can provide.”
Mammoth Mountain is currently open from top to bottom, including the four terrain parks and a 22-foot Olympic-sized halfpipe, plus Woolly’s Adventure Summit for tubers as well as cross-country skiing up to Minaret Summit.
