2009 US Open of Snowboarding MVR Added To Growing Action Sports Team
Minong, Wis. (August 18, 2009) – MATADOR™, a bold new brand by Jack Link’s®, announced today that Scotty Lago will be joining the MATADOR™ action sports team.

Lago had a strong 2008-2009 winter season. At the 2009 Winter X Games in Aspen, Colo., Lago placed second in Slopestyle. Less than a month later, at the 2009 Winter Dew Tour in Lake Tahoe, Calif., he took third overall in Halfpipe. Lago’s season came to a close with a win in the US Open of Snowboarding in Quarterpipe, and a third in Slopestyle, securing him the award for Most Valuable Rider at the US Open of Snowboarding.
