O'Neill is proud to announce the new acquisition of an airbag by Acrobag for this summer's Camp Of Champions in Whistler. Camp of Champions was the first to bring the airbag to summer camps in North America 2 years ago and O'Neill is bringing it back again this year. Ken Achenbach, the camp owner and founder said this about the new addition to the park. "We couldn't be more stoked to have O'Neill's airbag in our park this summer. The proper changes have been made to ensure this thing will go off and campers and coaches will find themselves achieving levels of riding they never thought possible with the assistance of this airbag." With two different jumps levels giving access to the airbag, everyone, beginners and experts, would be able to try and improve their tricks.
This is all aligned with the O'Neill mission: bringing the sport to another level by bringing professional material to help riders to reach their goal. Max Henault, the O'Neill Team Manager, which will also act as a coach during the camp, said: "Every kid in the world has the dream to jump in these bags and I'm glad that O'Neill can offer them that opportunity. It will be rewarding for myself and the team to help coach and have fun to try throwing some crazy manoeuvres into the bag."
The O'Neill snowboard crew will practice at the Camp of Champions from June 24th to July 30th. So make sure to stop by if you want to train with the pros like Seb Toots, Eric Willett, Mark McMorris, Jason Dubois and Didier Godbout.
