MT. HOOD, OR (Immediate Release) – The Hood River Rotary Club presents the annual Rotary Night at Mt. Hood Meadows Monday, January 20th. This is the major fundraiser for the Hood River Rotary’s community service projects and all funds raised for this night go to their scholarship program.
A special Rotary night lift pass will be available at the resort for $20 – and is good from 2 – 9 PM. The special pass can be purchased in advance online at SkiHood.com for just $15 (*must be purchased by noon, Monday).
The event has turned into the Hood River Rotary’s major fundraiser – generating more than $20,000 the past several seasons.
This is a special fundraiser that requires this special Rotary night lift pass in order to ride lifts after the normal 4 PM operating schedule. Meadows season pass holders, 10-time pass holders and other pre-purchased Meadows passes are valid Monday, January 20th for normal lift scheduled times through 4 PM; but will need to purchase the special lift pass to continue riding after 4 PM.
For more information visit Mt. Hood Meadows website SkiHood.com, or call 503.337.2222.
The event is timed perfectly with the major snow storm that dropped nearly four feet of snow on Meadows the last few days. The resort now has a base depth of 52″ and has terrain opened from the bottom of Hood River Express (at 4500 feet) to the top of Cascade (7300 ft) – weather permitting.
