Now in its eighteenth iteration, SNOWBOARDER Magazine’s Superpark 18 presented by Gatorade is officially underway at Mt. Hood Meadows, Oregon. Since its inception, Superpark has consistently changed the way that people look at terrain parks across the world, as well as pushed the progression of professional snowboarding, and Superpark 18 is set to raise the bar once again up at Meadows.

With almost $2 million in snowcats at their disposal, four of the best build teams on the planet have been pushing up the biggest and best parks features ever seen inbounds. In attendance are Keystone, Colorado; Woodward Camps; Seven Springs, Pennsylvania; and the host resort Mt. Hood Meadows and they’ve put the finishing touches on their creations that are set to be ridden by the best snowboarders on the globe.

SNOWBOARDER has partnered with Gatorade for the past six Superparks and without their assistance, it wouldn’t be the event it currently is today. For Superpark 18, we’ve once again tapped Gatorade as the presenting sponsor. John Shea, Senior Director of Sports Marketing says, “Gatorade strives to keep the guys fueled as they push progression in snowboarding each day at Superpark.” Much like the ideology of Superpark, Gatorade helps to push the limits of what can be done both inbounds and off the hill and SNOWBOARDER couldn’t be more stoked that they’ve signed on for another year.

For those of you that aren’t able to make it up to Meadows to watch all the action, SNOWBOARDER will be hosting Superpark 18: The Webcast for the second consecutive year. With help from Woodward, you can watch Superpark 18 as it unfolds live only on Snowboardermag.com on Friday, May 9th, and Saturday, May 10th, from 1pm to 3pm PST. With this evolution of the event, Superpark is now broadcast to thousands of fans worldwide as they can tune in live from their living room to watch some of the world’s best send it.
