February 19, 2014, Newburyport, MA – Reel Theory Productions is excited to say we are officially over the half way mark of another fun media making year. The “HUMP” event was the fourth and most anticipated return to Sunday River Stop. After the North East took a brutal hit of 12-18 inches of new snow in the past few days, VGE was thrilled about the return to Sunday River with such great conditions.

Video Games Event took Maine’s most recognizable ski resort, Sunday River, and turned it upside down! Sunday River made the park especially nice for VGE knowing this was their premiere weekend to showcase their newest trail called T72. A fresh 16 inches of powder from Thursday’s snowstorm made the conditions as desirable as any and a good turn out was evident! The day stayed mostly cloudy, except for a few pockets of sun, but that didn’t hinder our teams in the least bit. The VGE teams were hammering this park, which was littered with rails from the top of the park to the bottom. Up top consisted of a kink rail and a few down rails, which led into the jump line, and the intimidating cannon rail jump feature. Down below was a rail garden filled with some of the most unique features we have seen at any stop thus far. Sunday River pulled out all the tricks and blessed our event with the first half pipe! We made sure that the teams got their hands dirty in the pipe with a required shot on our shot list! Sunday River had it all, and the impending storm rolling in didn’t stop the day from producing some of the most memorable times all season. Check out the Sunday River Edits going up on Saturday February 22nd at 11:49pm.
Video Games is looking forward to a packed season of events on the East Coast with tons of awesome prizes and giveaways.
