It’s been a long time coming and we’re happy to introduce snowboarding’s first world premiere for the 2014 fall season. On Wednesday, August 6, we all cruised out to the Sandy Cinema, between Portland, Oregon and Mt. Hood to check out Think Thank’s double feature, Right Turn, Left Turn and Think Thank Almanac. The High Cascade Session 6 campers were bussed down for an early showing at 9pm, while the “adults” who rolled through to check out the film caught the late show at around 10:30. Think Thanks’ Jesse Burtner brought the crowds together for a nice intro, and everyone was super excited to welcome some new members, alongside the Think Thank veterans, to the silver screen.
Both movies wowed the audiences, and seeing the two films together left viewers with the feel of a solid year from the entire Think Thank crew. Max Warbington and Ted Borland came through with standout parts, Brandon Reis brought heat from the East Coast and Justin Keniston charged into the scene with a heavy part as well.
There was excellent creative work by Think Thank Almanac director, Sean Lucey, and solid direction from Jesse Burtner on ‘Right Turn, Left Turn’. But don’t take our word for it – check out the premiers of these movies when they come through a town near you, and pick up these flicks from a board shop when the hard copies drop!
