Red Bull Media House and Blank Paper Studios have come together to create "SLIDEWAYS" a unique look at snowboarding through its riders and culture.
From Red Bull, "over the past two decades the sport of snowboarding has evolved phenomenally. But for many The roots and soul that once were, have now become a subculture within the current snowboarding culture.
In this 4 episode series we focus on some riders that prefer to take their passion away from the spotlight to search deep into the realm of design and progression of the experience.
In "SLIDEWAYS", we follow along Wolfgang Nyvelt, voted "Rider of the Year" award in 2008, as he explores the world of like-minded shapers and designers from the snow, surf and skate worlds in an effort to expand and share upon the ideas that link all 3 cultures."
Markus Keller decided to join forces with Red Bull Media House, Nitro and Volcom to produce his first own movie project named, CHAMäLEON. Inspired by the animal of the same name 'chameleon', Markus is currently traveling the world and visiting some of the world's best snowboarders, infamous as true specialists in their discipline of the sport. Markus himself is changing colors and adapting to his surroundings just as a chameleon does, no matter what field he is in. Let it be backcountry riding in Arlberg, heli snowboarding in Alaska or New Zealand, urban shredding in Helsinki, tree riding in Japan, park laps in Lake Tahoe or Halfpipe runs in Laax – CHAMäLEON will capture it all, for the fun of it, because this is what snowboarding is for Markus Keller and this is a dream come true.Read More
