The Dew Tour iON Mountain Championships at Breckenridge held its first-ever Big Air competition yesterday, with twelve of the best competitive jumpers in the world competing for a chance at the Dew Cup. Two heats of six riders each held court on the massive kicker for eight minutes at a time, putting down their best double and triple corks in order to earn a spot in the five-man finals. When all was said and done, Mark McMorris landed a backside triple cork 1440 to take the Dew Cup. Sage Kotsenburg and Ståle Sanbech joined McMorris on the podium, in second and third, respectively.

The Dew Tour iON Mountain Championships at Breckenridge went into the streets yesterday for the inaugural Snowboard Streestyle event. The course was filled with urban-inspired elements, including dumpsters, Jersey barriers, and a jib-able Toyota van. Thirteen riders competed in a jam format session and in the end, it was Eric Beauchemin's riding that landed him on top of the podium.
