SARKA PANCOCHOVA TAKES FIRST AT SUPERGIRL SNOW PRO IN CONUNCTION WITH COMMUNITY CUP, WINS THE ONLY ALL-WOMEN’S 5-STAR EVENT IN THE WORLD

Breckenridge, CO (April 6, 2013) — Twenty five of the best snowboarders from around the globe converged at Breckenridge Ski Resort today for the Supergirl Snow Pro in conjunction with Community Cup —the only all-women’s WST-sanctioned 5-Star event in the world. The contest came to a thrilling close with Sarka Pancochova (Czech Republic) taking home both the title and the famous Supergirl cape. Seven of the world’s top ten ranked pros competed in the event, which was developed to showcase the best of women’s snowboarding on a course completely designed by the riders. Pancochova won the contest in her second run with an outstanding performance on both the jumps and rails, pulling tricks like a half-Cab 50-50 backside 360 off the barrel and a switch 540 for a score of 92. Christy Prior, who landed a frontside rodeo 720, came in second with a score of 90. X Games Champion, Silje Norendal, finished third with an 87.75. “I did the best run of my life today. It was a great season-ending competition and it was so fun to be out here with these girls on a course we designed and voted on,” said Pancochova. “The conditions today were perfect: the weather, the course, the vibe. All of that contributed to what I was able to do today, and I can’t wait to compete in the event next year.” The event supported eco-awareness and sustainability efforts through organizations like the Non-Toxic Revolution, Keep-A-Breast, Protect Our Winters, Plastic Pollution Coalition and One Life. “The world’s best female snowboarders put on an absolutely amazing display today,” said Rick Bratman, CEO of ASA Entertainment , the event’s management company. “We could not be more pleased with the event and we are very proud to have supported these talented ladies alongside our partners Warner Bros. Consumer Products, Paul Mitchell, Warner Bros. Television's Suburgatory, Kicker Audio, GoPro, Community Cup and Breckenridge Ski Resort.” “This was the first ever rider designed and approved course, something the riders have been working on the past 2 years,” said Chanelle Sladics, founder of the Community Cup. “It’s a dream come true to see Breckenridge bring our course to life. We truly attained the progressive and safe riding we intended to through the event.” This is the first event of the 2013 Supergirl Jam Series, the action sports industry’s only large-scale all-female competition and lifestyle series. Developed as a celebration of female empowerment, the Supergirl Jam Series features more than 150 top female pros competing in snowboarding, skateboarding and surfing as well as ‘girl-power’ activities at events held throughout the year. The Supergirl Snow Pro in conjunction with the Community Cup will be broadcast nationally on Fox Sports Net (FSN) in the fall. Dew Tour 2012: Snowbasin Slopestyle Finals

Words & Photos: Sean Kerrick Sullivan The dark weather greeting slopestyle riders at the 2012 Toyota Dew Tour Championships at Snowbasin, UT didn't bother Seb Toots as he won the Dew Cup on Sunday. "A bowl of cereal" got Seb fired up in the morning and nothing after that would stop him as he checked off another win and his first Dew Tour Championship off his to do list. Eric Willett and Sage Kotsenburg both seemed a little bothered by the bad weather, both scoring lower than they would have liked. Idaho charger Dash Kamp made a huge impression on the crowd and judges with his unique and solid style in the air, and although this may be the first time you have heard of him, expect that to change. His first run score held and landed him in second, but a rough fall on run two left him seeing birdies, which must have been interesting as they were mixed with confetti and champagne as he stood atop the podium. Spencer Link rounded out the top 3 for the men. In womens snowboarding, I was impressed by the whole field, but Spencer O'Brien and Enni Rukajarvi had me stoked with proper 7's and 5's respectively. O'Brien's 7 off the toes on the last jump closed the discussion, she no doubt was absolutely deserving of the "W" for the day, and her second Dew Cup. Dew Tour 2012 Snowbasin Slopestyle Results Mens Slopestyle 1. Sebastien Toutant 2. Dash Kamp 3. Spencer Link Womens Slopestyle 1. Spencer O'Brien 2. Enni Rukajarvi 3. Sarka Pancochova
