Friday May 11 was arguably one of the craziest days of snowboarding ever. Snowboarder Magazine's Superpark 16 presented by Gatorade saw an insane level of progression go down, from a backside triple cork from Sebastian Toutant as well as a frontside triple cork from Mark Hoyt, to Cody Rosenthal's bs 360 double methods, Josh Dirksen's banked slalom runs, to even certain riders literally trying to burn the park down, day 5 had it all! Check out riding from Seb Toots, Josh Dirksen, Mark Hoyt, Harrison Gordon, Haldor Helgason, Peetu Piironien, and many many more.Read More

In 2012, Seven Springs packed up their rakes and shovels and made the trek to Mt. Bachelor, setting up shop and building a behemoth of a jump for the Superpark riders.
From Seven Springs: It was an honor and a privilege to be involved with Superpark 16 last year. Our features enabled a ridiculous amount of airtime and Superpark's first ever triple cork. While the crew finishes the build for Superpark 17, lets take a look at the progression that went down last year. Featuring Jaeger Bailey, Johnny Brady, Brandon Davis, Sawyer Deen, Tyler Flanagan, Brendan Gerard, Ian Hart, Ozzy Henning, Mark Hoyt, Tim Humphreys, Sam Hulbert, Hans Mindnich, Nils Mindnich, Blake Paul, Cody Rosenthal, Sam Taxwood, Sebastien Toutant, Durell Williams and more.
Arbor Snowboards regional team rider, Mike Gray threw down at SNOWBOARDER Magazine's Superpark 16 last May and the footage was never released. In anticipation of Superpark 17 kicking off, we decided it was time for this lost footage to hit the internet. Get pumped, the Arbor team is about to lay siege to Mount Bachelor, Oregon again this May for Superpark 17!Read More
Nitro recently put out this bonus footage of Sam Taxwood at Superpark 16. Taxwood was a standout at both Superpark and The Launch last season; earning himself an OnDeck in our December issue, as well as a spot in the top 10 riders under 21 in our Minor Threat issue. Be sure to check out more of Sam's footage in Nitro's "Hyped!" and Keep The Change's "Holy Smokes."Read More
Capita Devours Everything As 2012 Battle Of The Brands Champion
With BOTB PTSD starting to set in Snowboarder Magazine would like to congratulate the Capita Super Corporation for devouring everything in our 2012 Battle Of The Brands Superpark 16 video showdown. Through two months of fierce digital democracy the Capita corps carried momentum from one head-to-head bout to the next leaving formidable foes like Nike, Smokin' and Thirtytwo in their wake. The week long finals against the enviro crusaders of Arbor was a media melee for the ages with 7878 votes cast to decide which team from Superpark 16 will be enjoying the spoils of Squid Roe while partaking in the first place prize of a trip for 5 to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
Arbor's Battle Of The Brands entry and social push seemed unstoppable as the nearly six minute long edit rolled past Bataleon, K2 and Volcom to the final matchup. Despite Scott Vine's one-footers on hundred-footers, Erik Leon's irie ollie's and arguably the best execution of the snake run slush slash follow cam of the whole event Arbor's submission ultimately succumbed to Capita's creation. Defenders Of Awesome Brendan Gerhard, Durrell Williams, Kyle Fisher, Brendon Rego, Andrew Burns, Garett Warnick, Phil Jacques, Brandon Cocard, Jess Kimura, and Dustin Craven performed for the lens of Mark Dangler at Mt Bachelor last Spring with pure style and intense ability resulting in an edit that is proper from start to finish. Behind the scenes Capita's director of Product Development and US Marketing Manager Sean Tedore mobilized the FK'n faithful to watch, vote and rally others for support en masse. For the 2012 Superpark 16 Battle of The Brands video showdown Capita came to the table with the complete package and is most deserving of first place and the free trip for 5 to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico that accompanies the title! Snowboarder wishes to salute the 16 companies who took part in the Battle Of The Brands as well as the riders, filmers and supporters who created spectacular videos and were eager to lobby for and broadcast their ballots. Furthermore Snowboarder would also like to thank Gatorade and Mt. Bachelor as well as all of the riders, builders, media representatives and companies who made Superpark 16 a success.
