Much like how the infectious dance beats of a NOW That’s What I Call Music! compilation album permeated American culture in the nineteen nineties, Lick the Cat is infusing their own breed of cultural influence into the two-thousand teens by journeying to Mt. Hood to host their very own Signature Session at High Cascade Snowboard Camp. Beginning on June 16th, Spencer Schubert, Sage Kotsenburg, Sam Taxwood, and Blake Paul will kick off the season of warm weather snowboarding, just like R Kelly rang in the summer of 1997 with his massive hit, “I Believe I Can Fly”. Fortunately, the similarities between the LTC crew and that scandalous, yet undeniably talented R&B icon end there, but there is no doubt that Session 1 at HCSC will be even better as cruising the streets in your Volkswagen Cabriolet singing along to Chumbwumba’s “Tubthumping”. To that end, film auteur Jon Stark has created a new compilation just in time for summer shred, Lick the Cat Summer Hits.
