Jake Rose wins The Feeders at Windells on June 23, 2013

Windells Camp, Mt. Hood, OR : June 23, 2013

The last stop of The Feeders hit Windells Camp yesterday, on what can only be described as a perfect day. After a quick visit from Oregon's sometimes rainy climate, the sun came through on Saturday and set the stage for an epic battle in the Windells park. The top summer rail riders hit the park with one mission: to win an official invite to the Downtown Throwdown in Minneapolis this fall. Needless to say, game faces were on.

Cody Lee, Austin Leonard, Jesse Paul, and Everest Arnold were just some of the contenders vying for a free trip to Minneapolis, showing everyone that Windells staff members can bring the heat. Even though he didn't walk away with a win, Jesse Burtner was happy to announce that Jesse Paul's part in Working For The City II had already earned him a spot in the DTTD. He sent it anyway, 'cause that's just his style. Sean Genovese, Nial Romanek, and Dylan Thompson had a rough day judging the event, but in the end they crowned one winner. Congratulations to Jake Rose for earning the coveted invitation to the 2013 Downtown Throwdown. And of course three cheers to all of the competitors for putting on one hell of an event. The countdown to the DTTD begins now.

1st – Jake Rose
2nd – Everest Arnold
3rd – Aaron Cardwell
Honorable Invite: Jesse Paul
