Besides the art of carving, the ollie is one of the most basic and sacred elements in the snowboarding repertoire. The ability to pop high is revered as much as it facilitates trick selection. On Saturday, March 12th, adidas Snowboarding paid homage to this proper popping at Okemo Mountain in Vermont with the first stop of Over/Under, a contest based on a simple premise: get over the bar when it’s up high, get under the bar when its down low, testing both the pop prowess as well as the creative carving of the riders. Read the full recap of the adidas Snowboarding Over/Under at Okemo and watch the above video to see what went down.
Stay tuned for the second stop of adidas Snowboarding Over/Under at Brighton Resort in Utah on Saturday, April 2, 2016.
