In this episode of The Postcard Series, the Arbor crew sends it across the Pacific to The Land of the Rising Sun and provides a convincing argument for saving up your cash and booking a trip to Japan this winter. The shredding options in this island country are endless, as upon landing and heading a few hours north of Tokyo, Scotty Vine, Erik Leon, Blake Axelson, and Uma Abe capitalize on a classic triumvirate of snowboarding: powder, groomers, and rails, finding solid examples of all three on their excursion. First up is a trip to the white room as fresh laps are scored with a ton of fresh snow. Next, the crew goes to Happo Banks, where they find plentiful banks and transition. Finally, the team takes to the streets of Japan and stacks on wallrides, redirects, drops, and rails. There’s plenty of new beginnings and happy endings, and only a small amount of monkey business in this episode of The Postcard Series.
