Built by Timberline Lodge in 1939, The Magic Mile chairlift is the oldest chairlift in Oregon and has since acted as a gateway for winter sports enthusiast to access to some of the best terrain that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. Since Windells Camp's relocation to Mount Hood in 1991, the Magic Mile has continued to act as a conduit for summer shredding, and the transportation to the funnest place on Earth.
During Session 3, Windells Camp welcomed the Earth surfers Erik Leon, Scotty Vine, Brandon Hammid, and Sammy Spiteri from Arbor Snowboards to slash around the private parks on Mount Hood and the private campus below the mountain in Welches. In traditional Oregon style, the weather wavered, but the tricks did not. Rails were pressed, grabs were tweaked, and hands were being planted atop each and every transition. Here’s a few photos to enjoy from the past week at Windells. Sit tight, becuase the session edit will be dropping soon.
Space is still available for Sessions 5 and 6 at Windells Camp. Want to come shred s'more with us this summer? We want you to, also! Visit us at Windells.com or call us at (503) 622-3736, we'd love to hear from you.
