The golden state may have a reputation for silicon sally's, but the only thing that mattered from February 10-12 in Mammoth was the amount of powder available for the 2010 Best of Test. As Southern California's shred workforce made their way out of shops and offices to test some new rides, surveys were taken, votes were tallied and winners determined. With powder aplenty and the parks on hold, this California stop allowed for freestyle and freeride shapes to garner more votes than their p-tex pressing counterparts. Mammoth's snowy bowls of beauty gleamed from the demo-tents, and before long, testers would slash the stash to reveal California's golden three.

CAPITA GREEN MACHINE
Handling and control were on point. Flat kick provided easy buttering and presses, turn initiation was smooth and it had great edge hold for carves on steeps. A light deck with pop, great for all mountain freestyle while functional in park, Eco friendly"
– Braeden, Eternalsnow.com, (Reno, NV)
"I took this twin out in a 2 foot dump and it rode great in the pow. I already know what it can do in regular conditions. Knowing that I don't have to change boards for different conditions is a great thing."
– Levi, Sierra Snowboard, (Sacramento, CA)
"Super fun board not only for the park but for the whole mtn. Blunt nose and tail keeps the swing weight down for spins, while the effective edge is great for the pipe and carving. Soft enough for butters and jibs, yet resilient for anything that comes its way. Super RAD board."
– Joshua, Heavenly Resort, (Stateline, NV)
"Absolutely entertaining for a $350 board. Rides everything even though it's a small size"
–Tom , Ski Pro, (Chandler, AZ)
NEVER SUMMER SL-R
"This board carves amazing. Holds an edge at high speeds and is effort less in powder."
– Gino, Olympus Board Shop, (Hermosa Beach, CA)
