In the heart of the French Alps in Trois Vallees, there lies an iconic resort called Meribel. Not only is Meribel littered with steeps, wide open pow fields, and endless options for untracked lines, it’s home to one of France’s most esteemed snowparks, DC Area 43. In mid January, the Rusty Toothbrush crew, including some of the European DC team descended on Meribel to shack up at the DC Chalet, a snowboarder’s paradise. While Europe’s winter had been off to a slow start, the trip coincided perfectly with Mother Nature’s first bought of winter in the Alps and the guys were treated to powder turns as well as sunny days in the park. Alex Stewart, Giacomo Errichiello, Victor Loron, and Thomas Chassagne along with lens aficionados Francesco Zoppei and Brad Smith made the above edit about their time spent lapping Meribel, topping the whole thing off with an incredibly well-done, one-shot lap around the chalet itself. The whole thing looks like a snowboarder’s dream, but what else would you expect when the chalet boss literally is named Jesus.

From rusty Toothbrush:

Mess up Meribel 2.0 is all about breaking shit, having fun and keeping Jesus is on his toes! (Jesus is the chalet boss btw) This year we decided to see what was really possible around the DC Chalet by building the best damn snow park in the world right outside our front door. Childhood dreams where fulfilled in the making of this damn fine edit! Cheers to Jon Demortier, Jesus and Emmanuel Labadie from DC for making this project happen and to Carlsberg for all those tasty brews!
