Every resort has two aspects upon which to grade its caliber: bathrooms and terrain parks. Feature Presentation brings you a weekly update of one of these facilities—the one where shit goes down, where wipe-outs pervade, and accidents happen. That’s right, the terrain park. Each week parks across the country are stampeded with burly riding, the amount of maneuvers implemented within their boundaries on a daily basis is astronomical, and it’s only through ingenious snowscaping that park staffers save their territory from descending into ruinous slop. Rails have to be reset, jumps reshaped, bomb holes filled in, ruts buffed out, and corduroy drizzled licorice-like down the hallowed slice of turf humbly known as the park. Here’s this week’s scenic recon of what modifications have been made and tricks have been thrown in some of today’s top resorts.
