What the West Coast lacked in snow during the winter of 2015, the East Coast made up for in spades, so it makes sense that when slushy, spring park laps were filling the minds of Flux team riders, Scotty Vine, Blake Axelson, and Erik Leon they booked tickets for New England. Destination: Mount Snow, Vermont. When the crew arrived, they met up with Steve Lauder, Lucas Mohr, Zach Wilmot and Shaun Murphy for an all-out creative spring session, sessioning the Carinthia Parks set up. A snowboarder's spring break conjures up visions of warm sunny weather, slushy snow conditions and ripping up the local terrain park all day with the homies. At the end of the winter of 2015, fun parks and “open late” were few and far between. So, some snow starved western US Flux team riders including Blake Axelson, Erik Leon and Scotty Vine loaded up and headed to Mount Snow, Vermont and the Carinthia Parks, one of the only zones that had a good winter, to meet up with Steve Lauder, Lucas Mohr, Zach Wilmot and Shaun Murphy. The mixed crew ripped the last remaining snow patches and a variety of features and obstacles as creativity ensued with setups and riding.
