Mammoth Mountain is back on the Grand Prix tour as the second of three stops, and will host two full-field halfpipe competitions Jan. 8-10. Slopestyle at Mammoth is Jan.10th.

Mammoth, one of California's most popular snowboarding destinations—and the only resort in North America to offer three different-sized halfpipes—originally played host to the first Olympic snowboard team announcement in 1998, and will be the last stop on the tour before the field of competitors is narrowed down in preparation for the 2010 Olympic team announcement at Park City. In addition to hosting the halfpipe comps, Mammoth will also hold a slopestyle event where athletes will have the chance to show off their style on the kickers and course features.
