The snowboard scene in the Southeast is flourishing and one of the biggest supporters of the community south of the Mason-Dixon Line is JP Pardy, the man behind Recess Ride Shop in Boone, North Carolina. For the past six years, the crew at Recess has put on one of the most anticipated events of the winter in the area, the wRECklESS Rail Jam. This year, almost one hundered stoked snowboarders headed to Beech Mountain to hit a proper jib set up. With that, here are words from JP, results, and plenty of photos. If you’re in the area, make sure to get to the rail jam next year!
