Rider Profile: Frank April

Frank April is one of a kind. Part of the Quebecois street royalty who spent the past few seasons producing two of the most renowned movies of the past decade, Deja Vu and Encore, Frank’s snowboarding is as exuberant as her personality and both provide ample reasons to spend time with this French Canadian phemon. Big Frank’s appetite for consequential street situations is as bottomless as his thirst for Grand Marnier and while both may get him into some hairy situations, he always emerges with a story to tell and a hammer shot to share. Last winter, while filming for The SNOWBOARDER Movie: Resolution, Frank continued his streak of shutting down urban locations throughout North America before his winter was derailed by a severe neck injury. While he was able to compile copious clips before this happened and continued to stack before getting the official diagnosis, he is healed up now and ready to unleash his larger-than-life brand of boarding in cities around the world once again this winter. – Mary Walsh
