SNOWBOARDER Magazine and Monster Energy are partnering with Mammoth Mountain, California for an event like no other. On Saturday, May 26th, sixteen of the best rail riders on the planet are set to assemble below Mammoth's Main Park for the West Coast Invitational Game of S.N.O.W. World Championships.

Starting with eight head-to-head battles, the sixteen invited riders will go trick-for-trick through four rounds until only two are left in the finals to battle it out for the $10,000 first place prize. The setup is simple but the tricks will be unbelievable, as the Mammoth Unbound park crew has supplied a down bar and a down-flat-down kink rail to serve as the two features for the riders' rounds. The first snowboarder to drop in each round will be chosen at random and the rules will dictate that if they land a trick then the other rider they are up against will have to land the same move or risk being assigned a letter until the word "S.N.O.W." is spelled out, hence eliminating said competitor. To ensure that the participants are proper in their execution, SNOWBOARDER Magazine, Monster Energy, and Mammoth Mountain have tapped Eddie Wall and Scotty Arnold to be guest referees for the event.

SNOWBOARDER Magazine's Editor Pat Bridges had this to say about an event that is the first of its kind on a platform of this magnitude: "SNOWBOARDER Magazine, Monster, and Mammoth are honored to have the most influential jibbers on earth joining us for the first-ever Game of S.N.O.W. World Championships. We've all played the game before, and now we all get to see it taken to the next level." Dustin Del Giudice, the Creative Manager for Unbound Terrain Parks mirrored Pat's sentiments, as he stated, "Mammoth is so stoked to team up with SNOWBOARDER Mag on this inaugural World Championship game of S.N.O.W. during our annual WCI end of season blow-out party. Pitting some of the best rail rippers in a head to head battle-royal format for 10,000 bucks is the ultimate ender to a great season!"

The sixteen invited pros consist of some of the most talented jibbers ever to strap in and their accolades range from X Games gold medals to mind-blowing video parts. The confirmed superstars set to put on a show of epic proportions are Louis-Felix Paradis, Frank April, Will Lavigne, Bode Merrill, Ethan Deiss, Dylan Thompson, Brandon Hobush, Zak Hale, Dylan Alito, Jake Kuzyk, Joe Sexton, Jaeger Bailey, Garrett Warnick, Spencer Schubert, and two surprise guests to be announced this week. With a roster of riders capable of their feats, the first annual Game of S.N.O.W. World Championships at Mammoth's West Coast Invitational bash is sure to be the most fun and awe-inspiring way to end the season. Be sure to head to Mammoth if you're in or around the area for the live event and if you can't make it, check back to for all the videos, photos, and recaps from what will be one of the most game-changing events in the history of snowboarding.
