For the seventh year in a row, SNOWBOARDER Magazine’s The Launch presented by Volcom, the paramount event to showcase the snowboarders under the age of eighteen who are raising the bar with every jump, rail and pipe into which they drop, will go down at Mammoth Mountain in California from Tuesday, April 14th to Friday, April 17th. The renowned Mammoth Unbound Park Staff, led by Park Manager TJ Dawoud will create a terrain park that will allow the young riders to display their all-terrain aptitude in front of a global audience.

For the better part of a decade, The Launch has provided an annual environment in which to foster the most talented of the next generation as they rise through the ranks of snowboarding. The event has provided a premiere park outlet for an ever-growing list of X Games and Olympic medalists, including Mark McMorris, Ståle Sandbecg, Jamie Anderson, Sage Kotsenburg, Taylor Gold, Maxence Parrot, and Yuki Kadono, as well as video part virtuosos like Austen Sweetin, Zak Hale, Jaeger Bailey, Blake Paul, Forest Bailey, Spencer Schubert, Garrett Warnick, and Hans and Nils Mindnich. The list of Launch alumni is a long one and we look forward to adding even more stand-out snowboarders to the ranks during this year’s event.

This and our continued partnership with Volcom ensures that The Launch 2015 will be a catalyst for breakthrough snowboarding from this up and coming generation.”

Riders who will be dropping in at Mammoth include Ben and Gabe Ferguson, Chloe Kim, Nik Baden, Red Gerard, Seamus O’Connor, Reid Smith, Brock Crouch, and many more.
