Canadian Prime Minister (and snowboarder) tweeted out that he voted for fellow countryman and current SNOWBOARDER Magazine Rider of the Year Mark McMorris in the ESPYs and urged all Canadians to do the same. Pretty badass, if you ask us. You know you’ve made it when that notification comes through your feed.
A KANGAROO IN THE LIFTLINE
Perisher Resort in Australia is known for it’s jumplines, but this week there was a jumper in the liftlines when a kangaroo went bounding across the snow. Instagram user @eadamquinn posted a video of the springy mammal, making standing in a liftline anywhere there isn’t a kangaroo seem way less exciting.

We’re not knocking Global News’ positive coverage of Mark McMorris’ recovery from his injury last winter; we’re very hyped to hear that Mark’s pushing around the skatepark. We just enjoyed this line: “A snowboarding magazine also had also just named [Mark McMorris] the 2016 rider of the year.” It would have been faster, from a typing standpoint, to actually write, “SNOWBOARDER Magazine.”
