"So I tell ’em I’m a pro jock, and who do you think they give me? The Dalai Lama himself. The twelfth son of the Lama. The flowing robes, the grace, bald…striking. So, I’m on the first tee with him. I give him the driver. He hauls off and whacks one—big hitter, the Lama—long, into a 10,000-foot crevasse right at the base of this glacier. Do you know what the Lama says? Gunga galunga… gunga, gunga-galunga. So we finish the 18th and he’s gonna stiff me. And I say, ‘Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know?’ And he says, ‘Oh, uh, there won’t be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness.’ So I got that goin’ for me, which is nice." – Carl Spackler (Bill Murray), Caddyshack

By the end of August we’re generally watching the weather forecast for dropping degrees and counting down the weeks until the snow starts to fall, but this video of the VG Session at Woodward Copper has us ready to replay summer a few more times before the frost settles on the ground. The group was heavy: JP Walker, Joe Sexton, Chris Grenier, Cale Zima and Scott Stevens packed all of the summertime activities into their week at Woodward. In addition to the first class snowboarding you expect from this stacked crew, the boys sent birdies, bogeys, doubles, and more on the golf course, in the skatepark, into the foam pit, and..on some paddleboat-type thing? The riding is glorious, the skating is mental, and the multi-sport athleticism displayed by JP, Joe, Grendies, Cale and Scott definitely dwarfs any post-eighteen activities we’ve witnessed from the PGA set. The Videograss crew maximized all hours of daylight while hanging out at camp and emerged from Colorado with one hell of a summer boarding edit. Enjoy the fast-paced fun.
