Brandon Cocard is no stranger in the snowboard community, having honed his skills early on in the mountains of Tahoe before migrating north to put in time year-round shredding up on Mount Hood, but over the last few seasons, more people are taking notice of this soft-spoken rider. Cocard’s deliberate style, in which he’s equally comfortable atop a street rail or dropping into a backcountry line, speaks volumes about his ability. Even more than that, he’s just an awesome dude, because no matter what Brandon’s riding out of, he always has a smile on his face. As the 2012/13 season winds down and we look forward to Cocard’s video part in Absinthe’s Fall 2013 release, “Dopamine”, this Portland, Oregon resident let us in on what has been on his playlist the past winter.
