COPPER MOUNTAIN, Colo. – June 10, 2015 – It's time to welcome summer with Copper's summer opening weekend on Friday, June 12. Enjoy plenty of activities, the Copper Creek Golf Course, an on-snow terrain park and exciting events.


Copper Summer Activities open Friday, June 12 with Summit County's only go-kart track, bumper boats, bungee jump, climbing wall and the Alpine Rush Zip Line all located in Copper's Center Village. The American Eagle chairlift is scheduled to open Friday, June 19 while mini-golf, disc golf and mountain biking will open as conditions allow. New this summer, hydrobike rentals are available on Copper's West Lake. Get the best deal with Copper's Summer Activity Passes at just $49 for a day pass and $109 for a season pass. Copper's Summer Activities will be open daily from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Sunday – Friday and 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Saturday. A new weekly event for summer 2015 is Copper Campfire. Each Saturday evening beginning June 13, s'mores and live music or storytelling will be available free of charge at the fire globe located in Center Village followed by a fireworks show over West Lake.


While Woodward Copper Summer Camp is in full swing with week #2 beginning Sunday, June 14, public Barn sessions kick off on Saturday, June 13. From 12 – 6 p.m. each Saturday and Sunday throughout the summer, the Barn is open to the public for intro and drop-in sessions. The summer Pavilion Park, located in Center Village, will open Saturday, June 13 and every Saturday from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. as weather and conditions allow. Visit to purchase tickets now.

Copper's Gone to the Dogs, June 26 – 27

Copper welcomes all dogs and their humans to the second year of this dog-centered 5K Ruff Wear fun run and expo. This year's event includes a Dock Diving Exhibition with the nationally recognized DockDogs, cani-cross and dog scooter demos, the Dog Gone Vendor Village, Adoption Alley and much more. Free live music provided by the Blue Dogs and the Aaron Burdett Band. All proceeds benefit League for Animals and People of the Summit (L.A.P.S.). For more information, visit
