Dakine Launches Travel Gear Bag Collection for Snow-bound Excursions
A leader in snow packs and bags for over 20 years, Dakine takes its heritage, knowledge, experience and passion for adventure in designing its new collection of travel gear bags for Winter 2017/18. The bags are built to accommodate the needs of riders traveling to new terrain with advanced design features and functional upgrades that will perform season after season wherever you may roam.
Whether you ski or snowboard, the new BootPack DLX 55L (MSRP $75) offers ample space for packing all your snow day essentials in one convenient and organized space, designed for leaving in the lodge for easy access throughout the day. The backpack-styled design is easy to carry, while offering tarp lined ski/snowboard boot pocket that is easily accessible through the zippered back panel. A large padded pocket on the top of the pack holds a helmet and goggles, while the zippered front cargo pocket can stash keys, gloves and a hat. A front insulated cooler pocket separately contains and cools lunch, snacks, or après librations. Available in multiple color options.
For hard goods, the new High Roller Snowboard Bag (MSRP $200) and Boundary Ski Roller Bag (MSRP $210) upgrades the travel experience by redesigning the quintessential snow gear rollers. The High Roller can hold two boards (one pair with bindings mounted), one pair of boots and outerwear, while the Boundary holds two pair of skis, one pair of boots, poles and apparel. Both bags have removable internal bags (securable inside the main compartment when traveling) to separately hold and organize boots and outerwear so you can take them up to your hotel room quickly while leaving the rest of your kit in gear check. Additionally, the end handles have been designed to pair with rolling luggage for one-handed operation on both models. Additional features include 360 degree board and ski padded protection, lockable main zipper, two external padded zippered pockets, durable over-sized urethane wheels and dual compression straps to reduce the volume of the bag when not filled to capacity or when storing.
