BURLINGTON, VT – With Peanuts® fans worldwide counting down the days to this Friday's release of the The Peanuts Movie, an all new 3D CGI feature film by Blue Sky Studios and 20th Century Fox, Burton is proud to announce an exclusive collection of youth snowboards featuring the movie's new renditions of the Peanuts® characters. And for fans of the classic Peanuts® style by Charles M. Schulz, Burton also created a limited edition line of women's snowboardsand layering pieces inspired by the original Peanuts® comic strip.
Available for the first time today on Burton.com and select stores worldwide, the Burton x Peanuts® youth snowboard collection features Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the whole gang, giving kids that extra incentive to master their first turns. The Peanuts® boards look as fun as they ride and will have kids turning molehills into mountains all winter long.
For the ladies, Burton created an exclusive Peanuts® snowboard, a women's active legging, tech tee and beanie – all featuring the classic artwork from the original Peanuts® comic strip. First up is the limited-edition Peanuts® Social snowboard, which showcases iconic imagery from everyone's favorite childhood cartoon and is available in three different sizes. The snowboard graphics feature the traditional animated characters of Peanuts® with Snoopy taking a walk in the snow and Snoopy again gazing at the stars. To round out the women's collection, Burton created a tech tee and active legging with a one-of-a-kind print that stars Lucy, Peppermint Patty and Sally Brown in a standout checkerboard motif. Finally, the Burton x Peanuts® beanie pays homage to the quintessential black and yellow zig-zag print of Charlie Brown's trademark shirt.
