JFBB Gives Back for the Tenth Consecutive Season

JFBB makes their top priority snow making and for the eleventh consecutive season Big Boulder will be the first to offer lift serviced skiing and riding in the state of Pennsylvania. Thanks to the hard work put forth by our dedicated mountain operations staff and talented snow making crew, we will kick off the 2015‐16 ski and snowboard season at Big Boulder, Friday, November 27 at 10:00am with Freedom PARK for a day of features, fun and freedom.

Big Boulder is giving back and needs your help! Boulder will be hosting its annual “Boulder Gives Back” promotion on Friday, November 27, 2015 and will be donating to two deserving local charities – Toys for Tots & Saint Peter the Fisherman Food Pantry.

Here's a breakdown on the local charities and what you can do to help:

 Toys for Tots: Bring a new, unwrapped toy valued at $20 or more and receive a complimentary snow pass for Friday, November 27.
 Food Pantry: Bring 15 non‐perishable foods (valued at $20). Donate items like canned meat or fish, canned soup, juice, pasta, vegetables, cereal and rice. Please do not include items that have expired or those in glass containers and receive a complimentary snow pass for Friday, November 27. Please check the expiration dates‐we will not accept expired foods.
 Guests that come to Big Boulder without any of the above items can purchase a snow pass for $20.

Last year the “Toys for Tots” campaign helped 658 families and 2792 children in the Carbon and Schuylkill Counties. The local food pantry, Saint Peter the Fisherman in Lake Harmony helps not only people in their parish but the entire community in which we donated 1.5 tons of non‐perishable foods that included over 20,000 canned goods and other non‐perishable items.

Big Boulder will be open Friday through Sunday 10am – 8pm and will reopen as weather and snow conditions permit. Mountain operations teams will take advantage of every opportunity to make snow and expand terrain offerings. Check out the conditions page for the latest snow, trail, lift and weather information.
