Nov. 20 2016 – Portland, Oregon – Nitro Team riders Bryan Fox and Austin Smith have been creating a snowboard series with Nitro Snowboards called the Quiver Series for over 5 years now. This season the boys wanted to expand the series into a powder specific board series and do it together with their friends and long time sponsors at Poler Stuff. The new Fall/Winter ´16 Quiver x Poler series is a collection of 4 different powder specific tapered snowboards, offering different characteristics for different types of riding. The idea is that you can bring your quiver out into the backcountry and camp over night and create your own personal playground. Set up camp in the snow, bring your friends, and experience how a powder day should be experienced. The boards top sheets where hand drawn by Bryan Fox with a camping theme together with Poler Stuff, while the base is the Poler "furry camo" print.
To celebrate and test out this concept, Bryan Fox, Austin Smith decided to go to Retallack Lodge up in British Colombia, Canada to make a Quiver x Poler mini movie, called "Big Woody and The Boys”. They brought along their good friend and professional skateboarder Rick McCrank to show him how amazing powder camping and snowboarding can be. Last weekend Poler Stuff hosted a release party at their Portland, OR store to celebrate this collaboration and upcoming winter and to premiere the new Nitro Quiver x Poler Mini movie – Big Woody & The Boys. Bryan Fox and Austin Smith set up a Drink Water Pop-Up shop, Photo show from the trip, and a raffle for L1 Outerwear and A Nitro Quiver Set-up where all proceeds went to the Snowdays Foundation. The Quiver Mini Movie will be premiering online in a the next two weeks for everyones viewing pleasures. Snowboarding is more than just something you do at the resort – its a vehicle for new experiences. Thank you to everyone who came out to the event and supported the Snowdays Foundation.

About Snowdays Foundation
Snow days Foundation was founded in 2004 by Portland science teacher, Patrick Edwards, and professional snowboarder, Travis Parker. That year they took their first group of students up to Mt. Hood from Jefferson High School.  The Portland, Oregon based volunteer organization dedicated to youth empowerment through snowboarding offers programs to teach young people how to snowboard. Their students are from middle and high schools in challenging neighborhoods, with the lowest academic achievement, the highest poverty rats, and the highest percentage of single-parent households.
