Shred Ready Helmets announces team:

Colin Spencer

Colin has been in the mountains since he was two years old and has turned his passion and love for snowboarding into a career. Being a Colorado native has given him a lifetime of experience in the Rocky Mountains. He has been the feature of countless published photos in major magazines including the cover of Snowboard Colorado magazine last season. While he is known for making strong appearances in Slopestyle events, he spends more time filming in the backcountry for movies like "YES it’s a movie too" and Wildcard’s “Shred-A-Vision”. Last winter was mostly spent filming in the Northwest.

Ian Smith

Ian is one of the most underrated riders around. He is also a really nice guy. Keep a close eye out for sick edits dropping from this guy all season long with double corks in every direction… His 2012 edit was insane. Ian works hard at everything he does and has a bright future in snowboarding. He is also co-founder of a new snowboard based social media site

Elin Tortorice

Elin is a ripper originally from New Hampshire who transplanted to the winter wonderland of Mt. Hood. She boasts an impressive quiver of contest finishes from the past few seasons and is one of the strongest up and coming female snowboarders on the slopestyle scene. Just last weekend at Northstar, she took second place at the Revolution Tour. She plans on competing and filming this season and we are sure we will see her on a podium again soon.

Brent Meyer

Brent is a 15-year veteran of professional snowboarding. He grew up in the Midwest riding at Tyrol Basin but has spent more than half of his life in Colorado living his childhood dream of snowboarding professionally. He spent the early years of his career excelling in slopestyle and big air competitions and now channels his energy towards filming and photo work in the backcountry. He has been published in almost every snowboard publication in the world and each season delivers solid exposure. His backcountry prowess keeps his stoke alive- but then again who wouldn't be stoked to ride big mountain lines, backcountry jumps and lots of powder. When not on the snow, Brent spends time with his two little shredders.

JJ Johnson

JJ spent years building a name for himself as an incredible snowboarder with an all around great attitude. His smile is contagious and he has good time doing just about everything! Recently he moved to whiter pastures in the Northwest, primarily at Mt. Baker. We can't blame him though; he has prime access to the deepest powder of his life. He has been published in a plethora of magazines and has an impressive resume of video parts.

"We are very excited about the new snowboarders representing our brand. They ride hard and need the quality of protection we provide: overall, we couldn't hope to find better operatives for Shred Ready."

Tom Sherburne, owner and founder of Shred Ready.
