Wave Rave Opens New Store in Verbier Switzerland for 2016-17 Season

Wave Rave Snowboard Shop in Mammoth Lakes California is announcing the opening of a new Wave Rave store in Verbier Switzerland for the 2016-17 season.

Steve Klassen had this to say about the project, "I have been traveling to Verbier for the last 20 years and have been interested in opening a store there.  The timing is finally right."

The Oreiller family, who owns the building where the new store will be located, has just received the approval from the bank for their renovation project.  Part of this renovation is to turn the first and second floor into a new Wave Rave store.

Natacha Oreiller, operator of the new store had this to say: "We are excited to be working with Steve on this new project.  We think that Wave Rave is a perfect fit for Verbier. Steve is well known due to his involvement in the Verbier Extreme and we think this project will do quite well."

Wave Rave's top brands, which include Burton, Volcom and Dakine, are also involved with the new store. Volcom's European head Bruno Gujer calls the new store an, "A+ location."

The store is scheduled for a grand opening in November of 2016.
