"‘Crazy Loco’ says it all. There are so many good jibbers nowadays but Jed continues to hang on top after so many solid years." - Mark Sollors
"Sick part. Proper tricks and style."
- Marie-France Roy
Jed Anderson is SNOWBOARDER Magazine’s 2015 Jibber of the Year, and for good reason. While it’s no argument that his rail riding is next level, it’s the manner in which Jed executes his tricks that seems to be spotlighted with our elite voting roster. While snowboarding may be Jed’s profession, it’s skateboarding that is his passion, and as of recent, Jed has proven his worth on four wheels so much so that he’s currently on flow for a few skate brands. That said, his innate talent on pavement and Skatelite transfers over to snow effortlessly, as Jed draws much of his inspiration from our sister subculture and it was all on display in his mini-movie/fullpart Crazy Loco, a film produced by his board sponsor Salomon Snowboards and directed by cinematic savent Tanner Pendleton. As a longtime voter in our Rider of the Year poll and an urban expert in his own right, Eero Ettala knows good jibbing when he sees it and he gave the nod to Jed for 2015, stating, "Just watch Crazy Loco and you will know! Sick skate style and tech tricks performed really smooth." Former Top Tenner and Forum über-pro Chad Otterstrom agrees succinctly, claiming that, "He has the best skate style." The most crazy loco part of all this isn’t simply how good Jed is, it’s how young he is. At only twenty-three years old, Jed is already in the discussion when it comes to being one of the most influential riders of all-time, and in the years to come, there’s no telling what Jed is capable of. What we do know is that his second appearance on this exclusive list most certainly will not be his last.
