January 27-28, 2018, Beyond the Boundaries women’s snowboard camp headed to the Garden State at one of the East Coast’s favorite resorts, Mountain Creek. South Mountain at this New Jersey institution is a top-to-bottom terrain park, accessed by a high speed chair and with plentiful rails, tubes and jumps cascading down the fall line. For the innagural stop of BTBounds, Stephen Ernst, Steve Cerra and the Mountain Creek Terrain Parks crew pulled out all the stops of the forty BTBounds ladies, building an epic private, progression park that included a line of cheesewedges, flat boxes, street-style down tubes, a pole jam, tranny finders, an up-dancefloor and tons more. The park was the perfect setting for those new to jibs and jumps to learn air awareness and increase their confidence as well as the ideal playground for freestyle phenoms to start dropping in switch and spinning onto rails. BTB coaches Christine Savage, Fancy Rutherford, Ashley Giangregorio, and Ari Morrone provided instruction, tips, and tons of good times beneath sunny skies and perfect spring conditions on the January weekend! Take a look at what went down over the course of the weekend via the lenswork of Chris Vanderyajt and Mike! For more, check out @mountaincreek, @mountaincreekparks, and @btbounds on Instagram.
