Burton Qualifiers 17/18 Tour: Stop 3--BRIGHTON

The roots of modern day jibbing are firmly planted at Utah's Brighton Mountain, which served as stop #3 of the 2017-2018 Burton Qualifiers Tour. The region's top up-and-coming riders arrived to a scene of steady snowfall--a welcome sight and cause for celebration in itself. And while it was near whiteout conditions at times, with a $20,000 prize purse on the line, it didn't seem to cool down the riding one bit.

Brighton's park crew is some of the best in the biz and shaped up a variety of features, including a kicker and a highly popular rollercoaster box which spit out at least one trick that left everyone wondering what they just witnessed. In the end, the top three in both the Open and 15 & Under divisions brought home a paycheck, while the top six in each division got an invite to the tour finals at Seven Springs, Pennsylvania.
