To say that the Frontline Rail Kam happens doesn’t sufficiently convey its energy and riotous flair. Part rail jam, part bottle rocket, Frontline erupts with new tricks, gnarly bails, and roaring crowds. For 11 years the event has assembled elite rail riders from across the globe in Stockholm, furnishing artful layouts of jibs for them to assail. This year’s roster was as heavy as ever—with Halldor and Eiki Helgason, Denis Leontyev, Johnny O’Connor, Zebbe Landmark, Flo Corzelius, Nils Arvidsson and other riders of their ilk—and the contest itself was a rave of innovation, Euro gumption, and enthusiastic Swedes.
