Our prayers have been answered and the hottest days of the year just got a little better. While we’re not decrying skating, cliff jumping, fishing, or any other warm weather activity, regardless of how much fun we’re having outdoors in short sleeves, the urge to make turns on frozen precipitation doesn’t ever fully dissipate. Which is why Woodward Tahoe’s newest upgrade to their summer snowboard camp is a dream come true. The crew at Boreal has a new Technoalpin Snow Factory that allows them to blow snow at temperatures up to 80 degrees. That means snow all summer long. SNOWBOARDER Video Manager John Cavan got to check it out one day in May when it was about 68 degrees and Woodward’s Matt Melilli and his staff were blowing snow to get ready for their summer camps.
