Common Apparel, being a basement-based business, forms very intimate connections with the houses in which they live, work and play. Knife Island was their most recent homestead and home base; and with a SPT-grade backyard park and a prime mini ramp tucked away in the garage they redefined the meaning of domesticity, adding to its boring connotations an energetic recklessness. Here’s a video by Nate Blomquist, with additional camera work by Jackson Brown and Sam Jorgensen, that commemorates their cherished domicile as they prepare to move to a new location, where we are sure that they will continue, staying true to the spirit of the notoriously bad neighbor, to make the most out of what a house has to offer.
