Mammoth opened almost a week earlier than expected for the 2015-16 season when the lifts roared to life on Thursday, November 5th. An early storm and cold temps for snowmaking made for plenty of base to set eager boarders loose on the wide open trails of this California resort. Opening Day attendees were met with the best gift Mother Nature could provide: deep turns and face shots. And lucky for everyone, the thermometer and storm systems are looking good for next week, too!
