Another day of sun and semis. Halfpipe semi-finals went off at the 2017 Burton US Open and many of the recognizable names floated to the top! Check out the full results and women’s highlight video below!

After a strong first drop from Shaun White (84.49) that moved him into first position, Scotty James bested the run with a complete string of his own (84.74) that placed him as the top qualifier going into Saturday’s final. Chloe Kim was Chloe Kim, taking the lead on her first run with a 79.62 and never looked back. An impressive run from Elena Hight (par for the course), which included a huge Cab 720 Melon, also landed her in the top six with a spot to compete for the gold!
