When the mercury is rising in the Northern Hemisphere, riders of all stripes from Europe and North America head across the Pacific, stamping their passports with laps at Thredbo in Australia. The local crews, stacked with rippers, are more than welcoming; generous in sharing the home hill with out of towners. Thredbo is a remarkable mountain, trails lined with gum trees; cliffs, drops, and natural hits at nearly every turn; and a park that is crafted and raked by a diligent and dedicated crew. The latter provides a massive draw for boarders from all over and this past season, even when storm systems were unusually inconsistent, Thredbo’s park systems were firing all the time. This video by Aussie lensman Marcus Skin highlights banger riding from a bevy of talent-heavy individuals, all doing their best to destroy Thredbo’s Antons Park jump and rail lines. Lucky for them, the Diggers are more than happy to rebuild. Enjoy.

From Thredbo:

A busy winter in Thredbo Parks with a stack of events on the calendar as well as some snowboarding names of note stopping by for film projects. The Canadian and Norwegian national snowboard teams were training at the same time as the Burton Tight Lines event was going down. Antons Park was polished up and included a 70-foot booter that was open to the public. It was quite the circus with plenty of bangers.

Featuring Mark McMorris, Tyler Nicholson, Max Parrot, Torstein Horgmo, Torgeir Bergrem, Emil Ulsletten, Mikey Ciccarelli, Marcus Kleveland, Bryce Bugera, Jared Elston, Jye Kearney, Angus Waddington, Jack Spence and Troy Sturrock.
